Rules of Tort Law
In this course, Dr Andrew Bell (University of Bristol) explains the rules of tort law. In the first module, we introduce the law of torts. In the second module, we look at the tort of negligence. In the third module we compare and contrast fault-based and strict liability. In the fourth module, we examine trespass torts, before turning to remedies in the fifth module. In the sixth and final module, we look at the doctrine of vicarious liability in English law, and provide a summary of what we have learned throughout the course.
