BIOGRAPHY

Dr Wayne Dooling is a senior lecturer in the history of Southern Africa in the School of History, Religions and Philosophies at SOAS, University of London. Dr Dooling’s research interests are in Southern African history, apartheid and decolonisation. Some of Dr Dooling’s recent publications include ‘Poverty and respectability in early twentieth-century Cape Town’ (2018) and ‘Cape Town knows, but she forgets: Segregation and the making of a housing crisis during the first half of the 20th century’ (2018).
