BIOGRAPHY

Johannes Abeler is a Professor of Economics at the University of Oxford. He specialises in Behavioural Economics, and has studied the economic effects of honesty, complexity, disappointment, fairness, and fungibility. With this in mind, he has written widely, including ‘Fungibility, Labels and Consumption’ (Journal of European Economic Association, 2016) and ‘Preferences for Truth-Telling’ (Econometrica, 2019).
